Remember the Hummer? Introduced back in 1992, it was a gas-guzzling machine. Its successor, the first-ever GMC Hummer EV pickup is set to be quite the opposite. Running only on electricity, the GMC Hummer EV SUT will have 1,000 horsepower, 11,50 lb-ft of torque, go 0-60 mph in 3 seconds, and offer exceptional off-road ability. Check out the All-Electric F-150 Prototype: In this demonstration, Ford puts on an exhibition where the All-Electric F-150 prototype is set up to tow 10 doubledecker railroad freight cars (a total weight of over 1 million pounds) over a distance of 1000 feet. Ford claims that no other truck has ever accomplished this feat. To put it mildly, the All-Electric F-150 accomplishes this task with such ease that the Ford rep in charge of the demonstration decides to add more weight for a total combined weight of 1.25 million pounds.
