Spray-On Bedliners

Bedliners for Pickup Trucks

With spray-on bedliners, you can protect your truck’s bed against scratches, scuffs, dings, and rust.  Basically, it helps keep the inside of your truck’s box looking great.

You could ask, can’t I just go with a drop-in plastic bedliner?  That’s always an option, but spray-on bedliners will provide a better overall protection.

  • With the drop-in bedliner, it’s not attached to the surface of the bed so you will actually get movement/rubbing occurring between the bedliner and the painted surface of your truck bed. This can eventually wear down the original factory clear coat and paint and cause it to rust over time.
  • Also the drop-in bedliner allows dirt, grime, water, or abrasive materials to get trapped between the bedliner and your truck bed and that can cause more abrasion to occur over time.

Spray-on bedliners tend to provide a maximum level of protection and allow truck owners to get more life out of their truck box.

The best protection that money can buy comes with a spray on polyurethane bedliner.  With the spray-on option, you get a quarter inch of protection that won’t crack, peel, or shift around because it’s permanently attached directly to the surface of the bed. A watertight seal is created that prevents anything from touching the painted surface of your truck bed.

The spray on liner is a maintenance free option so there’s nothing you have to do to maintain it and it will also come with a lifetime limited warranty that will cover most issues.

The spray on option will also provide you with a rubbery surface that grips well which means you’re not likely to slip or have a fall in the event you spill something slippery in the back of your truck’s bed.  The well-gripping polyurethane surface will also help to prevent cargo from sliding around in the back of your truck as you travel over bumpy terrain.  And the spray in liners also can also come in different colors so you can get it color-matched to your vehicle’s exterior if you’re looking at making it a show truck.  Ask the finance department at Runde Chevrolet or Runde of Platteville about the cost involved in adding this level of protection to your new truck.

Cost normally ranges from about $500 to $850 (depends on bed size and level of protection desired).
