GMC revealed the all-new, all-electric 2022 GMC Hummer EV, kicking off what the company is calling the Quiet Revolution. With its signature six-bar grille and boxy front end, the vehicle brings to mind the Hummer of the late ‘90s and early 2000s, but with a modern twist. The futuristic truck’s bold design houses an extremely capable and nearly silent all-electric propulsion system that provides 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft of torque. Running only on electricity, the GMC Hummer EV SUT will have 1,000 horsepower, 11,50 lb-ft of torque, go 0-60 mph in 3 seconds, and offer exceptional off-road ability. It will be revealed on May 20 with a livestream on gmc.com, which will also introduce the vehicle’s engine specifications and price.
