Ever wondered how Ford l keeps getting all of these “Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Ratings Top Picks” you might want to first consider the foundation of it all… the Ford steel. Ford uses Ultra high-strength and high-strength boron (one of the strongest, weldable materials) steel technologies to form several parts of their frame. Ford steel is up to four times harder than normal high-strength steel and up 10-15% thinner, making it lighter. These advanced materials aid the structure meet crash regulations while minimizing the vehicle’s weight to help maximize fuel economy. From this picture of the Ford Fiesta, you can see a good majority of the vehicle’s main points are made with high-strength/ultra-high-strength steel (orange). The 2012 Ford Focus followed suit and resulted in it’s shell being made of 55% high-strength steel [...]
Watch this video that was shot last week at X Games 17. It’s the new Rally Cross event and it sort of reminds me of the bumper cars ride at Adventureland. The Ford Fiesta hatchback dominated the Rally Cross largely due to its agility through hairpin turns over various types of surfaces. Please call our Ford Store in Manchester at 888-927-2630 if watching this video makes you to want to order a new Ford Fiesta. Now if you haven’t been moved to order a new Fiesta just quite yet and you have about 8 minutes to spare, then you’ll definitely need to watch this …
What’s not to love about the Ford Fiesta? The fact that it demolishes its competition, such as the Honda FIT and the Toyota Yaris, in nearly every category out there is probably an understatement. And now there’s more! The Fiesta, in addition to beating the competition in terms of: 1. Horsepower (competition ranges from 106 to 117 hp vs. the Fiesta at 120 HP) 2. Safety 3. Features And we just learned that the Fiesta also takes the top prize in terms of fuel economy. While the FIT offers an impressive 28/35 MPG it falls short of the Fiesta’s recently announced and officially official 29/40 MPG. Need I remind you that in addition to all of these class superior specs, the Ford Fiesta starts at $13,320 while the FIT starts at $14,900 – [...]
Has anyone considered purchasing a Ford Fiesta yet? Looking to get a great gas mileage car without putting a dent in your style or wallet? You have probably considered the Chevy Sonic or the Chevy Spark, but if you wait for the Ford Fiesta you will not be disappointed. I was very skeptical of the car at first. I’m 6’1″ with a big build and found these little gas-mileage cars “cramping” my style. But I went to the Chicago Auto Show and experienced the Fiesta first hand and I must say I’m impressed. The car, in my opinion, looks fantastic from the outside but what really took my breath away was the interior – QUALITY. Seriously, for a vehicle that starts around $13.5k and ends well under $20k although it felt like $30k [...]
Top Gear, in my opinion, is the best automotive show. Recently they reviewed (in quite a hysterical way) the Ford Fiesta. After you watch the video you will know what to expect if you get chased by “baddies” in a Corvette while in a shopping mall. If you’re not interested in a Fiesta at all and you just want to see the Fiesta race a Corvette in the mall, then skip forward to 4min, 23sec. If you want to see if the Ford’s new compact car floats, then skip ahead to 8min, 4sec. If you have any questions about the Fiesta or are interested in purchasing one, give our Ford store in Manchester, IA a call at 888-927-2630 and they will be more than happy to assist you picking out a vehicle that is apparently fit for extreme chase scenes and horrific combat… can’t go wrong with that.
If you have seen the “Will It Blend” series, you know that it is absolutely awesome. The host puts his blender to the test by trying to blend some pretty ridiculous things. Marbles, glow sticks, an I-pod, a Ford Fiesta… Huh? What was that last one you’re asking yourself? How the heck is that even possible? Well, I’d love to explain it all, but I simply cannot. You’ll just have to watch the episode and find out if the Ford Fiesta blends or not. Will it blend? America wants to know. Gotta love the cheesy smile and old western style horses in the window.
