George Kapparos may have not expected to leave with a Chevy Impala when he came to Runde Auto Group, but the smile on his face as he left with his Impala said “I’m glad that happened!.” George was pleasantly surprised by the level of service he received and was more than willing to share that experience with the world! What brought you into Rune’s today? My wife and I needed a new vehicle so I drove through the other day and looked around for a while. I was going to look at another place but my wife insisted that I come here. Have you dealt with Runde’s before? I actually took Tim Runde and Jeff Runde to a Chicago Cub game when they were 14 years old. They were great kids. [...]
You’ll soon see Nan Connolly driving around her Chevy Impala in East Dubuque. She is originally from Dubuque, but she recently built and moved into a house just outside of East Dubuque, IL. She came into Runde Chevy looking for a new Chevy to replace her vehicle. While she was here, she sat down and shared her experience with us. What brought you into Runde’s today? Probably advertising and I knew I wanted a Chevy when I was shopping. I was looking around and Runde’s seemed to have the best car prices. What vehicle did you end up going with? The Chevy Impala, I like it. My other car kind of gave up so I said “it’s time.” I have [...]
We had the pleasure of talking with Jenni McCann today. She was in to pick up the car that she just purchased from Runde Chevrolet. We are very appreciative of Jenni’s repeat business and she had some kind words, in turn, to say about Runde’s. The following is the long and short of our conversation: How did you find Runde Auto Group? Have you purchased here before? Yeah, I bought two Cavaliers here before, actually. I bought my 2nd Cavalier here 6 years ago. What did you buy this time? An Impala SS. I moved up and I love it. Where is the first place you’ll take your new Impala? Probably to show it to my mom over in Dubuque. Who was your salesperson and how would you rate them? Al Kloft. Al was excellent – he really was. Him and Anderson and what is “California’s” real name? Steve. Yep Steve. They were all very good. I’ve never [...]

We give you two of Runde’s newest customers: The Sefziks recently purchased a great new car from Runde Auto Group. We had the chance to sit down and chat with them for a spell the day they signed the papers for their new LeSabre. Where are you originally from? Epworth/Dubuque. What kind of vehicle did you buy? Buick LeSabre Custom. It’s really a great new car. That’s definitely a well-built car — I like those too. Where is the first place you’ll take your new vehicle? Madison – To go to the granddaughter’s musical program. Both of our granddaughters play hockey and softball so we’ll be going to those games as well. Will you give your new vehicle a name?

Buying a first car for your kid can be a nerve-racking process and making up your mind about how much horsepower is too much can definitely cause stress. Worries of them being in a safe, reliable car can lead to an endless search of what you should buy and with what features. To ease the process a bit, here are some quick tips to follow while making a decision on purchasing your kid’s first vehicle. 1. Size (buy a tank) Several people may think that mid or small-sized cars are the way to go in terms of a first car as they are the “common” type of car that people are comfortable driving. In actuality, however, having a larger car might be a better bet for your kids if you are thinking safety. Larger cars often absorb more force impact from accidents. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration these beasts score significantly better than compact or small sized vehicles. [...]
