Jr. and Dora S. have big plans for their new Dodge Grand Caravan. The couple, who lives in Farley, recently bought a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan at Runde Auto Group’s Manchester location. Dora said she is excited to use the van for delivering flowers for her daughter, as well as for carrying her 12 grand kids. Dora exclaimed, “They are going to love the new van. It rides so nice and it’s big enough to haul everyone as once … well, almost everyone.” She said the van’s automatic doors will come in handy for the children and with the automatic safety back off sensor she won’t have to worry about any of the kids getting their small fingers pinched in the sliding doors. “I used to have a van with the automatic doors you just click a button and they open. It’s a good thing it was a sunny day last week when Bob and Bonnie Jordan stopped by Runde Chevrolet to pick up their new 2014 Corvette Stingray. “We only drive these cars in nice weather,” Bonnie said. “They never get wet environmentally.” The vehicle is the latest addition to their already impressive car collection, which includes a 2003 Ford Thunderbird Convertible, a 2008 Challenger SRT8, a 2013 Mustang Boss 302, a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible and a 2014 Corvette Z51 Convertible. Construction on our Runde Chevrolet Buick GMC store in Platteville is coming along nicely! The store, located at 885 E. Business Highway 151 in Platteville, will feature: An expanded Service Department Brand new Parts Department New Showroom, with new sales, finance and insurance offices New Service reception area There also will be improved customer parking at the Platteville store, as well as room for up to four vehicles to be shown inside the showroom. The project, including the original building with additions, will total more than 24,000 sq. feet! Daniel Robison and the rest of the Robison family came in with his family to pick up a 2013 GMC Sierra from their salesman, Derrick Klauer at our Hazel Green dealership! Kyle Larson began working for Runde Chevrolet about 10 years ago. As a teenager, he began working after school and summer hours in the detail department. Along life’s path, he’s taken some academic and professional detours. He completed a BA in History at Loras College and he also served a tour of duty in Afghanistan with the US Military, but he’s glad to be back in the Tri-States selling full-time at Runde’s selling new Commercial Vehicles. Today was a great day at the 14th Annual Sales Expo, hosted by J&R Rental Supply Inc. held at the Silver Eagle Event Center in East Dubuque IL. The place was packed with hard working people from manufacturing and agricultural professions. We met lots of great people at this year’s J&R Supply Sales Expo. We got a good opportunity to explain our commercial line of vehicles and we also saw some great products from other vendors. Kyle Larson and Mark Fleege, our commercial vehicle specialists, from our Runde Chevrolet in East Dubuque, IL were at the Runde table fielding questions and giving away cozies, mugs, mouse pads and more. I can’t blame anyone for being defensive about car shopping. On one hand you have the typical car salespeople who will manipulate numbers, throw out gimmicks, sell you junk product and outright lie to you. We had a very special family walk through the Runde doors recently. Rafic and Holly Sinno swung by to pick up a Chevrolet Traverse from the Runde dealership in Hazel Green, Wisconsin. It’s that time again folks. Like it or not, it’s colder, slicker and more dangerous on the road than any other season. It can be a pretty scary situation going anywhere in the Tri-States driving in snow after a hefty snowfall. Allen Reyen From Stamford, Connecticut. Allen would travel one-thou-sand-miles and Allen would travel one-thou-sand-more just to be the man who traveled two-thou-sand-miles (round-trip) and ended up at Runde’s door. I cringed at reading it will have IFS all the way around, a 4 cylinder comes standard and a host of technological goodies. It was Trunk or Treat time in Manchester and luckily we are proud to have quite a few creative minds working at Runde’s. One particular salesman, Sean Dailey (Sales Manager of Runde Auto Group of Manchester), was particularly creative and festive when he put his truck on display at Sherman’s Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze.
