Local fisherman, Daryl Eudaley, had a great start to his weekend on Friday! The Peosta, Iowa resident picked up his new 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Z71 4WD Crew at Runde Chevrolet in East Dubuque, IL. He said this is nearly his 20th vehicle from Runde Auto Group, and that he keeps coming back because of the great sales and service departments, as well as his salesperson, Tim Runde. “I like how friendly he is toward the customer,” Daryl said. Daryl is an avid fisherman and uses the truck to haul his boat during the fishing season. Troy and Jennifer Kost, of Le Claire, Iowa, arrived at Runde Auto Group in a Chevy Cruze, and left with another Cruze! They purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze 1LT from Runde Chevrolet in East Dubuque, IL. When naming what you are thankful for on Thanksgiving in Dubuque, you might take one thing for granted: the big meal. There are thousands of people who don’t have a family dinner to look forward to on Thanksgiving in Dubuque, but thanks to Genny Ginter, they won’t go hungry. This year marks the 53rd annual free Dubuque Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Last year the event served 2,200 people. “I’m making 86 turkeys this year – probably 90 just to be safe,” Genny said. Runde Chevrolet got a blast from the past when Bob Kinsella pulled into the lot in his 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS with a 396. The vehicle, with its frost green exterior and dark green vinyl top and interior, was purchased from Paul Runde at Runde Chevrolet back in 1968. Jr. and Dora S. have big plans for their new Dodge Grand Caravan. The couple, who lives in Farley, recently bought a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan at Runde Auto Group’s Manchester location.
