However, there is something to really get excited about and that’s the “new kid on the block” … or should we say the new block on the block.  Of course we’re referring to the new 3.0L Duramax turbodiesel engine.  This marks the first time Chevrolet has put an inline diesel engine in one of their SUV’s.  This engine is also optional in the current Chevy Silverado 1500 and it has been impressing drivers with its more than ample power and great fuel efficiency.  The bottom line is when you drop the 3.0 liter Duramax in the Tahoe, you end up with the most fuel-efficient vehicle in the full-size SUV class.  In fact, it’s rated at 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway when you opt for the 4wd drivetrain.  It’s worth noting that most customers who purchase a new Chevy Tahoe near Dubuque usually opt for the 4wd version.

The New Tahoe has Something for Everyone

The temperature controls in the vehicle are all digital and are controlled through the cluster of buttons and dials that are housed directly below the infotainment screen.  Tri-zone climate control allows you to set the air at three different temperatures (driver, passenger, and the rear cabin area).
