In for service recently was Jane Wardenburg, from Williamsburg, IA. Sitting outside with her great dane attracted pretty much everyone’s attention. Kids in the showroom were asking her if they could ride her horse. The two of them were nice enough to chat with me for a little bit while she get her vehicle repaired.
Hello Jane, what is being serviced on your vehicle?
The drivers door lock was acting up. So they are replacing that for me.
What kind of vehicle do you have?
We have a Chevrolet Suburban. We got it here in September.
What service person is helping you?
I believe his name is Ron. He has been really great. Everyone here is very good. We bought the Suburban from your salesman, Rob Sheehan, and he was great as well.
How would you rate your experience here on a scale of 1-10?
I’d give it a 10. They were very good about getting the car in and making it work for me. The sale was painless and great. Really nothing to complain about.
What do you have planned for the rest of the day?
We are heading down to get stitches out of my dogs leg from when she had surgery.
What was wrong with her?
She blew her knee out. They had to make a kind of ligament to replace it with.
What kind of dog is she?
A Great Dane. Her name is Elly, she’s two. We got her as a puppy.
And now… she’s not so much a puppy… she’s huge!
Yea, she grew really fast.
Are you married?
Yes, for 24 years now.
Do you have any kids?
I have two boys, one in the marines and one graduating from high school.
Do you go on family vacations?
Yes we do. After we got the new Chevy Suburban we could all sit comfortably and watch T.V. and so much more, it really makes for a great trip. We were recently in San Diego for my son’s graduation from the marines, the trip was very fun thanks to the Suburban you sold us.
Is Elly a Chevy girl?
Oh yes, she loves the suburban.
Thank you for taking some time out to talk to me, Hope your great dane Elly gets used to her surgery, she sure is a joy to have around!
