Denise and Jim Kruser – Newlyweds Ready to Take Off in Their Jeep

Jim and Denise Kruser, from Dubuque, IA came in the other day to purchase a new vehicle. Denise had purchased from Runde’s in the past and had such a great experience that she decided to come back. Jim and Denise were kind enough to sit down with me for a few minutes and tell me a little about themselves and about their experience at Runde’s.
What led you to Runde’s today?
Denise: I’ve bought from here before and we were looking for a reliable winter vehicle so we decided to buy it from here again. We wound up with the ’05 Jeep Liberty.
Denise: I was told that it was a good place to come so I gave it a shot and they were right.
Are you two married?
Yes, just recently, actually. We’ve been married for about two months.
How was the honeymoon?
We actually haven’t done that yet. We’re going to do that next spring when I’m done with school. We’re hoping to go to Hawaii but it depends if there are little ones on the way or not. We might just take a week off work and spend it at home as a vacation.
So is this vehicle for the both of you, or do you plan on just one driver taking it?
Denise: The vehicle will be for the both of us…
How was your experience here overall?
It was great I can’t say anything bad about it. We were very satisfied.
He is very down to earth. He’s literally what made the deal happen. We like his nickname, too. We’d have to give him a high 9 on a 1-10 scale.
We don’t really have time to do much of anything; we work all the time.
Tony Roma’s or Taiko. If you like seafood or ribs Roma’s is the place to go.
Favorite Movie?
Jim: Unforgiven with Clint Eastwood
Denise: Shawshank Redemption.
Favorite Music?
Jim: I love Rock n’ Roll – Queens of the Stone Age, stuff like that.
Denise: Country, anything but Rap – I like Alabama, George Strait, etc…
If you were to win the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Denise: I’d help out friends and family.
Jim: Selfishly?
Uh, sure?
Jim: I’d come out and buy a couple Silverado’s from here.
That’s not selfish. That helps you, Runde’s, and America!
What’s one invention you couldn’t live without?
Denise: Uh… Mountain Dew? (laughs) Ok, being serious – the radio, I love the radio.
Jim: Guitar.
As far as hobbies go, you obviously like the guitar … what else do you guys like to do?
Jim: Music is a big part of my life.
Denise: I like drawing and painting — art in general.
Did you guys go to a local college?
Denise: I’m actually attending Clarke University now.
Oh, my father is a professor there, maybe you know him; Abdul Sinno.
Denise: That’s your dad!? Are you serious? I’ve taken so many classes with him, he’s great!

We just thought that Runde’s was very laid back and easy to work with. It wasn’t a bunch of lingo we couldn’t follow. They made it very easy to understand and it’s nice that they offer a free Carfax report with the vehicles that customers are interested in. Some places charge you for the Carfax and I find that shady, seems like Runde’s has nothing to hide.
