Don Hart is a guy who always seems to be on the go. From being a landlord, plowing and maintaining several rental properties to helping out those in need by doing missionary work, Don’s always on the move. He calls himself “retired” but it looks like he has a full load to me! To learn more about this interesting person, we had a nice chat before he hit the mean streets in his new HHR.
How did you find Runde’s?
I found you guys through the internet.
What site did you use? Did you find the vehicle you needed right away?
Autotrader.com, I found the exact car I was looking for so I called you guys up. I talked to Al, I was pretty impressed by Al.
What car did you find?
I was looking for a Chevy HHR. Found it online, came here and test drove it, it was great so I took it.
What do you plan to do with the HHR?
The HHR is actually for my wife.
What would you rank your experience here at Runde’s on a scale of 1-10?
I’d have to give it a 10. It was fast service – I talked to Al yesterday and today I got the car.
This is only the second time I’ve bought a vehicle from a dealer. I bought an Opel long ago and hated the car. I used to live in the San Joaquin Valley in California and the car’s air-conditioner was inadequate for the 90+ degree weather there which the dealer failed to tell me. To say the least I wasn’t happy dealing with the car or the dealer. This one looks very promising though.
What would you rank Al on a scale of 1-10?
I’d say at least an 8 (I don’t want his head to swell up too much.)
So your married …
Yes I’m married. We just celebrated our 30th anniversary on January 1st.
You live around the area?
I live in Lanark Illinois, it’s about 50 miles from this PreDriven store.
Would you recommend Runde’s to a friend?
Oh yea, for sure.
What does Don Hart like to do in his spare-time?
I like fishing. Usually on the Mississippi. I also do Mission Work and Rehab Work. I used to belong to a group called Brother in Disaster Ministry, I’ve been to “Katrina” and Rushford, MN and other places helping out. If we get an opportunity to help out in Haiti we will go there as well.
What kind of things do you do in these places?
Rehabilitate old houses that have been through floods and things like that. We also do sheet-rocking and basically anything else that it takes to get things back together.
Does Don Hart have any favorite movie or show?
I like Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. American Idol is at the point right now where they go to Hollywood to compete.
If there was one invention you couldn’t live without, what would it be?
*starts laughing* I like guns. But there really isn’t anything that I couldn’t live without.
Thanks Don, hope your wife loves the HHR!
