Andy Godlewski – A Man Who Loves His Trucks

Today Andy Godlewski of West Salem, Wisconsin, stopped into Runde PreDriven to pick out a truck from our selection of used trucks. Andy, who works in construction, gave me a chance to interview him before he headed off to watch his sons first football game.

So what brought you into Runde’s today?
I was looking for trucks on the internet. I saw one on AutoTrader then went to the Runde website where I got the number and called to get Al Kloft.

What truck did you end up buying?
A ’05 Chevy 2500 HD – it’s a nice truck.

What did you think of Al Kloft?
He’s a little weird, but in a good way. He keeps things lively and is the opposite of boring.

 On a scale of 1-10 what would you rate your experience here?
I’d give it a 10, no problems.
That’s what we like to hear, glad your experience was good.

Are you married?
Yes I am, two years strong.

Have any kids?
I have a boy and a girl. My son is nine and my daughter is six, both are in elementary.

What do you guys like to do for fun?
Ride toys. I got all kinds of toys; bikes, four-wheelers, snow mobiles, trucks. I also like to hunt. Bow hunting actually just started this morning.

Plan to go out hunting after you are done here?
My sons got his first football game today, so I’m going to go to that first then there’s a party tonight I’m going to. So I’ll be hunting tomorrow it looks like.

Do you have any pets?
We got two dogs – a Beagle and a Boxer puppy.

What do you like to do around your area?
They have a racetrack up there in West Salem, I like to go watch them every Saturday night.

Do you like to watch movies?
Not really. I fall asleep. If I sit in my chair it’s time to go to bed, otherwise I’m outside doing something.

Have a favorite restaurant?
Outback Steakhouse.

Do you go on vacation a lot?
Eh, every once in awhile.

Where’s the last place you went to?
Jamaica for our honeymoon – it’s a really nice place.

If you could do any one thing what would you do?
Hmmm… I’d win the lottery.  

If you won the lottery what would you do with the money?
Oh I’d buy all kinds of toys. Probably a new house as well and a few more trucks

What’s the one toy you want the most?
A Chopper.

Anything you’d like to ad?
It was good service and people were laid back like me, the people here have fun – that’s the way life should be.
