Friday The 13th At Runde’s

Has Friday the 13th got you down?  Black cats, ladders and mirrors couldn’t stop the employee’s at Runde’s from coming in to work to help meet the needs of our customers.

That doesn’t mean, however, that they do not believe in superstition.  The following video will show you the superstitions roaming around peoples minds at Runde Auto Group.

If you’re not sure where all the superstition came about from “a number attached to a day”, then you’re not alone. I had no idea why this day is associated with misfortune and bad luck … that is until I looked it up.

I always assumed it had something to do with the Friday the 13th movies with Jason stalking campers.  But after much research and a quick visit to Wikipedia, I found out what all the hubbub is about.  Turns out that the reason why people dread the occurrence of Friday the 13th so much is … no one really knows.

And the origin of the superstition that Friday the 13th is bad luck or that something bad will happen on that day … well no one really knows where that came from either.

So there you have it.  The day is considered bad luck because someone back around the middle ages deemed it “bad luck”.
