Welcoming Salesman Rick Petitgout to Runde Chevrolet

We are pleased to announce that Rick Petitgout has joined the sales staff at Runde Chevrolet in East Dubuque!

Rick has been in the automotive industry for 17 years and has been selling vehicles for 14 years.

“It is not a car buying experience, it is a relationship-building experience,” he says. “I’m excited to be a part of Runde Auto Group and am looking forward to many, many, many years of building successful relationships.”

Originally from East Dubuque, Rick lives in Asbury with his wife Marjorie, his four-year-old daughter Ariana, and their two miniature dachshunds.

In his free time, Rick enjoys golfing, cheering on Notre Dame football, the Chicago Cubs, and the San Francisco 49ers.

“I’m also a self-proclaimed chef on my Big Green Egg grill,” he says.

Rick, whose nickname is “Petty,” was named after his mother’s favorite Chicago Cubs player, Rick Monday. He keeps a bobble head of the baseball star on his desk.

With so much experience in the auto industry, we had to know – what is Rick’s all-time favorite vehicle? He said it would have to be the Chevrolet Avalanche.

“Built on a Suburban platform, you can use it for towing or use the eight-foot bed for hauling, plus it has second-row seating,” he says.

Rick is looking forward to putting his knowledge and experience to good use at Runde Auto Group by making the buying process simple and enjoyable.

“Good customer service is before, during, and after the sale,” he says. “It’s all about building relationships and friendships.”
