Runde Chevrolet was founded by Alfred Runde in 1927 and has a long, unwavering history of offering quality service to East Dubuque and Dubuque Chevy and GMC owners. The East Dubuque base dealership has been Runde family owned ever since. The business has grown to four dealerships in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Make no mistake about it, 90 Years of Runde Auto Group is a long time and that’s a great thing.
Runde Auto Group sells new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles, as well as various makes of PreDriven vehicles.
The dealership
is overseen by five Runde brothers, Tim, Greg, Jeff, Ron, and Mike, who are each actively involved in the day-to-day workings of the dealerships.
Alfred’s great-grandson, Jacob Puls, became the fourth generation to join the family
business in 2015.

Rather than spending hours in a dealership, Runde’s no-nonsense approach means that customers are able to complete the transaction in half the time that it might take elsewhere.
“We want to make the process as easy as possible,” Tim said. “Buying a vehicle is a big deal, but it doesn’t have to be intimidating. We want our customers to feel comfortable with their decision as they drive off the lot.”
In most of the deals that are negotiated with our sales dealership, Runde’s will go above and beyond by delivering the customer’s new vehicle right to their home (within 200 miles of our dealership). There have also been cases where customers lived 400 miles away from Runde’s and our drivers met them at the half-way point. This allows Runde Auto Group’s customers to maintain their daily schedules and it reduces the number of trips they need to make to our dealership showroom. This is just one of the ways that Runde’s is trying to make the car purchasing process as easy and intuitive as possible for our customers.
