Chevrolet’s plush top-of-the-line trim level, namely the 2023 High Country Silverado, has countless unique features that really distance it from other trucks. For example, the streamlined chrome grille on the new front end and the upscale aluminum wheel options.

There are a number of wheel choices available and all you have to do is decide on what color you want (machined aluminum, black, carbon, or chrome) and whether you want the 20″ or 22″ (of course the 22’s will fill out the wheel well a little more).  Both of these really set it apart from the other Silverado trim levels as well as from competitive truck models. And then all the chrome trim from the High Country badge to the wide chrome molding on the doors further distinguishes the High Country as the top of the mountain in terms of luxury full-size trucks.

But inside is where the High Country’s luxury really shines. There are all the usual things you’d expect to find, like heated and ventilated seats, but now those seats have a unique pattern to them where the High Country logo is embroidered right into the headrests with an exclusive custom stitching and that stitching carries throughout the entire interior of the truck. And the full-power driver’s seat comes with both seat position and side mirror memory functions which means every time you get into your truck, it’s gonna remember all the settings you like.

The High Country Silverado also comes with a leather wrapped and heated steering wheel, which (let’s be honest) has become a highly sought-after feature especially when you consider how frigid Midwest winters can be. On the other side of the spectrum, the truck also sports a button where when pushed, all four windows roll down at the exact same time so you’re able to cool down the truck a little quicker on a hot summer day.

Upscale Interior Touches and Tech Upgrades

The Bose sound system also has stainless steel speaker grills just adding another little touch of opulence. And the woodgrain surfaces throughout the interior are made of authentic open-pore wood, so it not only looks real, it is real and it feels nice when you run your hand across it.  That type of luxury continues throughout the entire interior of the 2023 High Country Silverado.  But Chevrolet’s attention to detail is not strictly focused on aesthetics, and that’s evident with the 13.4 inch color center touch screen which is powered by Google and is both Apple and Android compatible.  And there’s also a 12.3 inch multi-color programmable driver info center right in front of the steering wheel with all the vehicle specific information you’re ever going to want to know.

For 2023 customers who are considering the High Country will have their choice of three different engines. Two gasoline and one diesel.  The 5.3L and the 6.2L are great gas-powered options for customers looking for a more traditional half-ton full size truck.  But customers can also opt for the 3.0L Duramax engine that has been around now for about 5 years now so it’s definitely tried and true. 

It’s All About Functionality and Convenience

And the 2023 High Country also includes BOTH a power up and power down tailgate for the ultimate in luxury. Additionally, if you’re interested in the MultiFLEX tailgate that’s also available with six different configurations.
