Chevy MyWay Offers Live Vehicle Tours

Now you can get the dealership experience on your phone, computer, or tablet without leaving the comfort of home with Chevy MyWay.

The service launched on January 6 and offers you a live walk around and discussion with a Chevy product specialist.

You can chat using your microphone or the chat box and the person will answer your questions, give you a complete tour of the vehicle (or vehicles!), and send you links for more information if needed.

We tested out the service today and chatted with Jimmy, a product specialist. He was standing in a large brightly-lit studio in the metro Detroit area, and the room was full of 15 shiny new Chevy vehicles. There is one of each model available, plus two Corvettes – a coupe and a convertible.

The service is also available if you need a demonstration. Jimmy noted he has shown people how to pair their phones to their vehicles, how to look at different display modes on the Corvette, demonstrated the new Multi-Flex Tailgate, and more.

“We even have props,” he said. “We just got a stroller, a hockey bag, and a bag of soccer balls to help demonstrate how much space there is in some of the vehicles.”

Behind the Silverado is a backdrop of a trailer so the specialists can demonstrate the trailer camera views. There are posters near each vehicle to show the various trim levels available as well.

Chevy MyWay is available from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays (Central time).
