Welcoming new GMC salesperson, Tim Vodak, to Rundes!

Tim Vodak - salesman at Runde GMC near DubuqueRunde GMC in Platteville is proud to welcome Tim Vodak to its sales staff!  If you’ve never been to the Runde GMC store, it’s one of the largest GMC dealers of Dubuque and the surrounding areas.  It’s about 15 minutes down Highway 151 and when you get into town, it’s located right on the main strip of dealerships … about 1/2 mile west of the Walmart.  Runde’s offers new GMC, Buick. and Chevrolet vehicles.  Over the past few years the GMC brand has really become popular and of course with more foot traffic and shoppers passing through Runde’s, we saw a need to add another salesperson.

Our newest GMC salesperson was born and raised in Platteville and has a degree in Business Administration in Sales and Marketing.

“I wanted to use my sales education and customer service background for a fun job,” Tim said. “I had interest in a variety of cars, for one, and Runde has the best reputation in the area not just for customers, but also for employees.”

He is very interested to be a GMC salesperson.

“I’ve driven everything from a 1984 Ford Bronco, 1999 Chevy S10, to my current car a 2004 Mini Cooper.  Also, I’m a huge fan of car enthusiast shows like Top Gear (BBC version).”

He said his favorite vehicle is the Reliant Robin, the three-wheeled car that was formerly manufactured by Reliant Motor Company in Tamworth, England.

“It’s not very practical, but hilarious to drive and watch someone drive,” Tim said. “My second favorite would be my old S10.”

Tim and his fiancé Molli Adams will be getting married in September. He has a sister who is a freshman in college and two half sisters. His parents own and operate a Culver’s in Winona, MN.

In his spare time, Tim likes to cook, travel, and go to wineries, beer tastings, football, and basketball games.

So if you’re looking for a GMC dealership near Dubuque, please reach out to Tim at (866) 576-0797 with any questions about a new GMC Sierra, Buick SUV or Chevy Silverado.
