Ram TRX: Like No Other Truck Before

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is re-defining the high-performance pick-up. Much like its raptor namesake, the truck is a powerhouse of strength and speed.

The numbers don’t lie: With a Hellcat 3.2L Hemi V-8 engine, the TRX can go from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. It has 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, can tow 8,100 pounds, and can ford up to 32 inches of water!

The truck’s aggressive exterior includes a body that is 8 inches wider than the regular Ram 1500, 35-inch all-terrain tires, LED Smartbeam Intelligent Headlamps, wide fender flares, a menacing grille, a functional air-intake hood scoop, a flow-through front Ram badge, and an overall muscular stance.

You will hear this truck coming with its growl from the 5-inch matte black exhaust tip.

It’s complemented by the truck’s luxurious interior which includes TRX badging throughout, an available Harman Kardon Premium Audio System with 19 speakers, center-mounted gear shifter, suede accents, and more. Plus available Mopar accessories make for an even bigger statement, like the bed-mounted spare tire carrier and RamBar.

The performance-focus of the TRX is noticeable in even the smallest details like the steering wheel, which has integrated aluminum shift paddles, a flat-bottom shape and available carbon fiber and suede accents.

The vehicle’s top speed is 118 mph. It is the first Ram truck to be equipped with Launch Control with Launch Assist, which regulates engine RPM and monitors wheel slip feedback in order to always achieve the fastest possible acceleration rate.

For off-road adventures, the TRX has 11.8” of ground clearance and 13” of front suspension travel. The truck has 8 drive modes, including Sport, Snow, Custom, Mud/Sand, Rock, Baja, and Valet.
