Bird Chevrolet Customers are Seriously Going to Want to Check Out Runde’s
Bird Chevrolet in Dubuque had been a local Chevy dealer and a staple of the community since 1927 so it was a shock when they closed their doors for good in 2018. Since that time a lot of Dubuque Chevrolet customers have flocked to Runde Chevrolet over in East Dubuque and Runde Chevy-Buick-GMC of Platteville, WI to service their current vehicles and to purchase new ones.
A lot of middle aged people in the area can’t even remember what Dubuque was like before Bird Chevrolet moved over to the west end of town in 1966. Personally speaking, I was born in ’69 so Bird Chevrolet on University Avenue was all I had ever known.
But it’s nice to know that Bird customers have a reputable alternative in Runde Chevrolet they can now turn to. Runde’s has also been selling new Chevrolet vehicles to people in the Tri-State area since 1927 and there are no signs of that changing any time soon. Runde’s is well thought of in the local community and that shows when you examine their customer reviews and testimonials.
One customer from Dubuque wrote this about Runde Chevy: “My experience was quick and easy. The sales team was fast and efficient, taking little time to get through all the paperwork yet still explaining everything accurately and thoroughly. Everyone was kind and congratulatory on the purchase of my new-to-me vehicle and (Runde’s) made sure it was clean and completely looked over to ensure no mechanical issues. I would go back and work with Tim in a heartbeat!”
Another local customer wrote: “Great Customer Service. Friendly and professional staff. Very accommodating for service appointments. Very thorough explanation for any service done on our vehicles. Always have loaner vehicle available if needed. John Riley was very informative regarding all features of our new vehicles.”
For a short spell from about 2011 to 2014, when customers walked into Runde Chevrolet, it almost seemed like they were walking into Bird Chevrolet. You’d see the sales manager and then you’d walk around the corner and you’d see Tim Meyer (who was a salesperson at Bird’s for a long time). There were actually a couple of employees who joked that Runde’s was starting to look like Bird Chevrolet’s East Campus. All kidding aside, though, Tim Meyer was a seasoned sales professional who took extreme pride in his work. Just before his retirement in 2014, he was at the 3.99 level in terms of his customer satisfaction rating. This meant he was only one hundredth of a point away from a perfect score of 4.0. Tim was another great pick-up from Bird Chevrolet. He took a lot of pride in his work and in the Chevrolet products he sold.
Tim Meyer brought a lot of former Bird customers with him and quickly converted them over to loyal Runde customers with great service, great Runde pricing, and an unsurpassable amount of professionalism. And when Bird’s finally closed their doors for good in 2018, many more longtime Bird Chevrolet customers started coming over to Runde’s for both their sales and vehicle service needs.
Runde Auto Group clearly is the right choice as they’ve won Dubuque’s Best Fest voting every year since 2014 the Best Car and Truck Dealership in the Tri-State area.
And Runde’s doesn’t just offer new Chevrolet vehicles. They also stock the largest selection of used cars in the local area. For customers located outside the area or for those who just don’t want to come into the dealership, Runde’s offers their convenient online trade appraisal form as well as the option of free vehicle delivery (within 200 miles) once all aspects of the sale have been agreed upon.
So if you used to purchase or service your vehicle at Bird Chevrolet in Dubuque and are currently looking for a viable option to replace Bird’s services, we’d like you to consider Runde Auto Group … the best car and truck dealership in the local area.
