2021 Buick Envision Debuts New Look

Buick is envisioning a stylish new version of the Buick Envision for the 2021 model year.

“The 2021 Envision will be lower and wider, with premium proportions and striking styling designed to combine the expressiveness of a car with the practicality of an SUV,” said Helen Emsley, executive director of Global Buick and GMC Design, in a press release.

The fresh SUV is debuting not only a new look, but also a premium Avenir trim for the first time, as well as Buick’s first available 10-inch diagonal touchscreen infotainment system.

The infotainment system will include useful in-vehicle apps, such as Amazon Alexa built-in, Spotify, Pandora, Fox Sports, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

The 2021 Buick Envision comes with a laundry list of standard safety features, including:

• Automatic Emergency Braking
• Front Pedestrian Braking
• Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
• Forward Collision Alert
• Following Distance Indicator
• Rear Park Assist
• Safety Alert Seat
• HD Rear Vision Camera

Also available are Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, HD Surround Vision, Front Park Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Head-Up Display, and a Rear Camera Mirror.

“The design of and technology in the all-new Buick Envision are sure to be a hit in today’s growing premium SUV market,” Emsley said.

The new Envision joins the rest of the growing Buick SUV family, including the new Encore GX. It will be powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine and nine-speed transmission.

“The all-new 2021 Envision is part of Buick’s strategy to grow its family of premium SUVs,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick and GMC, in a press release.

More details will be announced later this year, and the vehicle will be available at Runde Chevrolet Buick GMC in Platteville early next year.
