Dawn Hettinger Picks up Her New Vehicle at Runde’s in Manchester

Dawn Hettinger came into Runde Auto Group in Manchester with little to no expectations. After her experience with her salesman, Sean Dailey, and seeing how Runde operates, she left with her new vehicle as happy as could be!

Where are you from?
Well that’s kind of hard to answer because I’m from all over the place! I was raised here then there kind of a thing, but I was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. 

What made you choose Runde’s? What led you to us opposed to other dealers?
I needed a car and I did a Google search for the car I was interested in and found Runde’s. You guys ended up having the best price at the best mileage.  Being a little bit on the honest side here: I was raised as a Chevy person; my fiancé [Nick Runde] loves Ford and his last name just so happens to be “Runde” so there were a lot of coincidences there that kind of made me check you guys out.

How was your experience with the Runde sales process?
Great!  I did compare prices and shop around and everything about the vehicle I bought from you was much better in price as well as mileage and condition compared to all the other places I’ve looked. The vehicle I got at Runde’s only had 68,000 miles, and the price fit my budget. Everywhere else I looked at had vehicles with  100,000+ miles and they were asking up to double my budget.

What vehicle did you end up buying?
A 2004 Ford Freestar.

How has it been treating you?
Very good! I had a tail-light go out recently but I took it into Runde’s and Dan in the service department helped me fix it. He did a great job and took care of it fast. I was in and out.

How was your salesman, Sean Dailey?
Sean is really nice. He didn’t try to swindle me or anything like that; he was really cool about everything. He’s a great guy – down to earth and didn’t try to push the sale.

What do you do for a living?
I’m a full time student, a Girl Scout leader,  and a Lia Sophia Advisor. I love driving my Freestar so much that I offer to drive my friends kids to school. I’ve only had my Freestar for about a month and already put over 2,000 miles on it going between all these places. It has been very dependable.

You said your fiancé has the last name of “Runde”, any relation to the Runde’s here?
He said there is some relation to the Runde’s in Illinois.

Do you have any pets?
Two dogs, a Rat-Terrier and one’s a Terrier mix.

What do you like to do around the area?
A bit of everything around town – shopping, going out to restaurants, etc.

What’s your favorite restaurant?
In Manchester it would have to be Breadeaux, it’s a pizza place. There’s a good Chinese place here too called Chuong Garden with a very nice atmosphere, but Breadeaux wins over the Chinese place because they offer delivery.

Do you guys like to watch movies a lot?
We sure do!

Does Dawn Hettinger have a favorite movie?
There’s too many to pick a favorite.

See anything in theater lately?
We just watched the new Hunger Games: Catching Fire. It was outstanding. You must go see it, I was very impressed. I recommend it to anyone that has kids (that are age appropriate) as well.

How many kids do you have?
I have three kids and my fiancé has one.

If Dawn Hettinger was to rate her experience at Runde’s on a scale of 1-10, what would she give it?
I’d give it a 10. The reason being is because I’ve had some people that swear by and suggest other dealerships but I tried Runde’s and was very impressed with the whole process. I think it was a great place and I was really impressed.
