The first Buick Encore GX recently arrived at Runde Auto Group. This is a new crossover model with a familiar name. Is it the same vehicle as the current Buick Encore? Absolutely not. The current Encore is a sub-compact SUV. The Encore GX is an entirely new vehicle that is both longer and wider than the Buick Encore. In terms of size, the Encore GX is just in between the Envision and the Encore.
This attractive little SUV is essentially the Buick version of the upcoming all-new Chevrolet Trailblazer that is due to be released a little later this year.
It will be priced at a higher level than the Encore and will come in three trim levels, the base level Preferred, mid-level Select, and top tier Essence, with the Base level starting at $25,095 and the top tier starting at $29,495.
A turbocharged 1.2-liter three cylinder engine that produces 137 horsepower is standard on all FWD models. An available AWD model comes with a 155-horsepower turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder.
The Encore GX offers flexible seating for up to 5 passengers and customizable cargo options making it ideal for anywhere life takes you! It 
comes with standard 40/60 split seats, which can be paired with the front flat folding passenger seat for a diagonal cargo area.
The Encore GX offers an impressive array of safety and tech features, including an adaptive cruise control camera, automatic parking assist with braking, high definition surround vision, a rear cross-traffic alert, and a following distance indicator! Also available are a hands-free power liftgate with LED logo project and panoramic moonroof.
You can also opt for the available wireless smartphone charging; a rearview camera mirror, which allows for a wider field of vision plus zoom and vertical tilt adjustment; and available head-up display, which displays key information right in your field of vision so you don’t need to glance down to see it.
Select Encore GX models will offer Buick Marketplace, giving you in-vehicle access to Yelp to search for restaurants and reserve a table, Exxon/Mobil to pay for fuel, and Domino’s to order and pay for pizza. It also has Apple CarPlay compatibility and an available built-in 4G LTE WiFi Hotspot.
An available Sport Touring package includes dark wheels, a sportier grille and bumper, and red exterior accents.
