2012 Wrap Up – 2012 vehicles at Runde Auto Group

The year has come and gone and there were a lot of exciting 2012 vehicles that became available in the auto market. Lots of exciting things happened throughout the year. New models, impressive new technology and even some changes at Runde’s. Here is a recap of what happened this year!

This year brought home quite a few new models to the lineup, here are some of the fresh and exciting 2012 vehicles.

• • Chevrolet Spark  – The Chevy Spark showed us that “little” and “inexpensive” does not equal “weak” and “cheap”. With its 135HP 1.8L engine or optional 138HP 1.4L Turbocharged engine the sonic packs a punch that is unexpected for a car of its size with a price tag that won’t break the bank.

• • 2014  Silverado & Sierra Announced! – It might be long overdue in some people’s mind, but 2013 will shine for truck lovers with the new Silverado and Sierra. The new trucks sport 3 engines – 4.3 v6, 5.3L v8 & a 6.2L v8 which gives potential buyers several options when it comes to how powerful they need their truck. Updating Classic Chevy Truck Styling – the New Silverado/Sierra looks more aggressive, rugged and wider than ever. Other improvements include new suspension components, reinforced body, forward hinged rear doors on the extended cab.

• • Dodge Dart  – Sleek styling mixed with impressive handling and performance(160HP 2.0L) comes with this all new vehicle brought back from the past by Dodge. Starting at a price that is well south of the price you’d expect to pay for a vehicle as packed with features as the Dart.

• • Ford Focus/Fusion/Escape – Although technically not “NEW” the Focus, Fusion & Escape have gone through some major reconstructive surgery. The new bold, rally-ish look of the vehicles really cry out style. Better engine and technology are apparent to the models overall.

  Suzuki Steps out:
  Due to some lackluster figures, Suzuki decides to focus on their Motorcycle line and drop automotive production. No worries to all of you that bought your Suzuki’s at Rundes!  Our Suzuki service department is still open in Hazel Green, WI and we are still able to perform maintenance to your Suzuki car!

  Rundes Acquires GMC!
  In the biggest news of the year we are now offering GMC as one of our makes! Our GMC store in Platteville, WI (formerly Mound View Motors) is officially open for business. We are excited to offer new GMC vehicles to our valued customers!
