You may have noticed many vehicles on the Runde Auto Group website labeled as Service Loaner Specials.
These are vehicles that were previously part of our service loaner fleet, so they were loaned out to customers who had their vehicle in for service. They are mostly used locally and have about 2,000 to 3,000 miles on them at the time of sale.
The benefit of purchasing a service loaner is that you can save up to $2,000 ON TOP of all the typical rebates that come with a new vehicle! Many local customers from Dubuque and the surrounding area have taken advantage of these service loaner specials. And it’s often better than purchasing a program vehicles. Program vehicles are most often vehicles that were previously owned and rented out by national rental companies like Hertz or Avis and these vehicles often become available to customers on dealer lots once they have reached around 15,000 to 30,000 miles on the odometer.
Runde service loaners were never used by rental companies. They are new (untitled vehicles) that are still eligible for all factory rebates and incentives. And customers who purchase these Service Loaner Specials can be assured their vehicle is eligible for the normal full factory warranty coverage. For example, say a truck has 2734 miles on the odometer at the time it is purchased by a customer. Because the Service Loaner Special vehicle is still considered a new vehicle, that means that the normal 36K bumper-to-bumper factory warranty will now run out to 38,734 miles on this particular truck. No worries.
Needless to say, the Service Loaner Specials at Runde Chevrolet are being seen as a great deal by customers from the Dubuque area. Anytime a customer can get into a new vehicle and save money vs. purchasing a look-alike truck with a few less miles, it’s a good situation and a good day.
