2024 green TraxChevrolet recently released their newest model … the all-new 2024 Chevy Trax.

The all new Trax design clearly derives some of its styling cues from the upcoming Chevy Blazer and it promises to be a very popular SUV choice within the Chevrolet model lineup in the not-so-distant future.

It’s quite a bit larger than the previous generation.  How much bigger, you ask?   Well it’s actually a whopping 11 inches longer than the old Trax model and 2 inches wider.  Just to be clear, that translates into mucho interior space for a compact SUV.

In fact, Chevrolet is saying there will be 3 inches more room in the back seat for passengers to stretch out their legs on long trips and there’ll also be approximately 12% more storage room behind that rear seat which will easily allow for beaucoup more cargo like groceries, luggage, sports equipment, or whatever you feel like hauling around town in the back of your vehicle.  And when the rear seats are folded down, there’s 54.1 cubic feet of storage space in all.

New for the 2024 Trax are the distinctive RS and Activ trim levels.  The Activ trim level has a muscular, monochromatic look while the RS (Rally Sport) has a sportier, sleek look.  These two trim levels will be widely sought after when they hit the market in the late spring or early summer of 2023.

In all, the new Trax will be available in 5 various trim levels:  LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS and Activ.   And customers interested in leasing or buying a new Trax will be able to choose from 10 different exterior colors.

Apart from dimensions, when you compare the exterior look of the old vs the new, there is no comparison as the all-new Trax will surely be a popular landing spot for many first time new car buyers.old trax compared to the all-new trax

The first thing that catches your eye from inside the cabin is the 11-inch infotainment touch screen on the center of the dash.  This will put the driver in control of everything without having to take their eyes off the road.

When you’re driving Trax, you’re going to feel confident and in total control with a wide array of technological features that will help keep you safe.  There are six advanced safety features that’ll come standard on every Trax trim level.  These include:  Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Front Pedestrian Braking, and Intellibeam Auto High Beams.

So the new 2024 Chevy Trax is going to be better looking, more spacious, more technologically advanced, as well as safer.  But the final eye-catching part of the of the new Trax (and this may be the most impressive part) will be the price tag.  Of Trax’s 5 trim levels, the least expensive (LS) will start out at $21,495 and the most expensive one (Activ) will start at $24,995.  That’s pretty impressive, especially when we’re seeing everything else in life just skyrocket in price.  Chevrolet will be bringing this new vehicle to the market at a price point that’s very affordable and they’re also going to be offering fantastic lease deals that will make it even more affordable for the budget-conscious new car shopper.2024 Trax starting prices
