Reflections in the Park has become a Dubuque tradition.
The annual light festival, which raises funds for Hillcrest Family Services, runs Nov. 26 through Jan. 3 at Louis Murphy Park in Dubuque. The price is $10 per vehicle at the gate. (Discounted tickets for $8 are available at all DB&T banking centers as well as Hillcrest locations.)
There will also be a one-night-only walk through event from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The cost is the same and children 3 and under are free. Each person requires a ticket for the walk through.
Runde Auto Group is proud to be a continued sponsor for this event. As you make your way through the park, watch out for our Chevrolet Silverado display, along with the many unique light displays from other area businesses and lighted memorials for loved ones in Memory Lane.
The lights show is open to vehicles from 5-10 p.m. daily. Santa will be on hand every Monday in December before Christmas between 5 and 8 p.m. to distribute candy to the youngsters. Dog treats will also be given to canine visitors.
You will be provided a radio station to listen to while you drive through that will add a musical background to the visuals.
Last year, Reflections in the Park celebrated its 25th year, raising a record-setting $160,000 and seeing 14,000 vehicles pass through its gates.
Hillcrest Family Services enriches lives in the community with programs for adolescent residential treatment, adoption, health & wellness, homelessness prevention, brain health counseling, Mentor Dubuque, and spirituality.
In the last year, Hillcrest has helped over 37,000 people.
Reflections in the Park is the organization’s largest annual community fundraiser. It requires the help of many individuals to keep it running.
Want to help out? Many opportunities to volunteer are available:
- Light display set up (begins several weeks before Thanksgiving)
- Light tear down (begins the week immediately following the last night of the event)
- Light display maintenance (throughout the year)
- Gate teams – groups of four or more are needed each night to take admission.
