Welcoming Tony Lucey to the Runde Sales Staff

Runde Chevrolet Buick GMC in Platteville is proud to welcome its newest salesperson, Tony Lucey!

Tony is from Cuba City, WI and used to work in the radiology department of a hospital for 13 years. He is excited to try something new.

“I have always been interested in car sales,” he said. “Many years ago when I began buying cars for my children and of course trucks for myself, I thought it would be a neat job as I love to meet and help people. I love the excitement that customers get when buying a new vehicle. Helping people to achieve something that makes them happy is a great feeling.”

He got a fast start, selling two cars in his first week!

“The first few weeks of being a salesperson have been awesome,” Tony Lucey said. “There is obviously a lot to learn, but I love the challenge. It is different from my last job because you are helping people to realize a dream.”

His favorite vehicle is the GMC Sierra 1500 because of its dependability and style.

In his spare time, Tony Lucey likes to fish, bow hunt, golf, and spend time with his family. He has three sons: one who lives at home, one who lives in Dubuque, and one who lives with his wife in Benton, WI.

Here’s a fun random fact about Tony:  His second cousin, Patrick J. Lucey, was the governor of Wisconsin from 1970-1977 and he ran as the Vice Presidential candidate with John Anderson during the 1980 election!

Tony is looking forward to his new career at Runde Auto Group and making the buying experience a pleasant one for all his customers.
