Dubuque Business Owner Gets a Truck at Runde’s

Dubuque Business Owner Eddie Severns standing next to his new truckDubuque business owner, Eddie Severns, of Dubuque picked up a new Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Dbl Cab today at Runde Chevrolet!

Eddie co-owns RF2 Furniture Warehouse with his wife Rebecca.  They plan to use his truck for hauling small items for their Dubuque business. He was pleased with the price he was able to get at Runde Auto Group.

“When you open a small business, every dollar counts,” he said.

RF2 Furniture Warehouse, located at 900 Jackson Street, Suite 112 in Dubuque, features furniture, home decorations, and home accent pieces. They opened about a year and a half ago.

“We are a Dubuque business situated in the Millwork District,” he said. “There are a lot of cool things happening over there.”

Eddie liked the white color of his new truck, as well as the handling and comfort of the Silverado.

“I used to be a Ford guy, but my friend in Illinois purchased a Silverado and I drove it around and loved the handling,” Eddie said. “I think a lot of people like the feeling of a truck because they are up high, but they want the comfort of a car ride.”

While Eddie was here, he also participated in Chevrolet’s #IDriveFor campaign. He drives for Shelly, who is currently battling cancer. Since his photo with the frame was posted to Twitter, Chevy will donate $5 to the American Cancer Society.

Eddie’s salesperson was Dave Frazier.

“The whole process was smooth with transparent pricing,” Eddie said. “He stayed up on everything and continuously followed up. That’s good customer service.”

Thank you for choosing us, Eddie, and thank for agreeing to be interviewed for our blog!  Please know that we’re open Monday through Saturday for any truck service needs that might arise.  We’re always here and available for our customers after the sale because we know that being a successful business in the Dubuque area involves maintaining and fostering an ongoing relationship with one’s customers.  Even if we’re closed on Sundays or holidays, service customers are still able to use our key drop box to leave their vehicle and key with us.  When customers go this route, one of our service advisors contacts them first thing during the next buiness day.  Runde’s is always here to help!
