Open 5-10 p.m. daily through Jan. 3 at Louis Murphy Park in Dubuque, this year’s event features about 65 displays. Runde Auto Group is a proud sponsor of Rudolph riding in a Corvette!

Tickets are $10 per vehicle. On average, about 10,000 vehicles drive through the display each year.  Cars, trucks, and SUV’s line up along South Grandview Avenue on the south side of Dubuque just waiting to get into the park to see the spectacle of lights.

“This annual lights festival has becJuggling Snowman from the Dubuque Annual Lights Festival in Murphy Park at Christmas timeome a family tradition for us,” said Sondra Bennett, the event coordinator. “It is a lighthearted, family-oriented event that changes every year — offering a fresh new view every year. It helps people to forget the stress of their daily lives and they get lost in the magic of the park.”

To commemorate its 20th year, the organizers will present a special gift package to the 20th car through the gates each night!

The funds raised help support more than 30 programs offered at Hillcrest Family Services that aid the homeless, provide mentors to young people, promote wellness, and more.

“(They are) vital to our community, but do not tend to be self-sufficient due to the nature of the program,” Sondra said.

New this year is a “fireworks” display – lighted displays that “explode” with color, a large Joy to the World, and a huge rocking horse.Elves at Playtime Annual Lights Festival Display

“I would like to thank our corporate sponsor Dubuque Bank & Trust and Heartland Financial USA as well as the 160 + sponsors in the park and another 35 media sponsors and some 500 volunteers needed to make the Reflections in the Park annual lights festival the magical display that it is,” Sondra said.  “They have worked hard to present the 20th Annual Reflections in the Park – we invite you to come and catch the magic of a drive through Reflections in the Park.”
