Runde Chevy customer Sticks with Same Salesman for 25 Years

Runde Chevy customer Jeanne Harrington should be considered an extremely loyal customer as she’s been buying cars from us for many years.
The St. Catherine, Iowa resident has actually been purchasing vehicles from Runde Auto Group’s sales manager John Riley since 1989 (back when he was working for another Chevrolet dealership across the river). She was in again today to purchase a new Chevrolet Cruze.
She said John takes care of his customers and the rest of the sales staff has always been nice too.
“I haven’t really had problems, but I know that if I need help with something, he will help,” Jeanne said. “The battery was dead a couple months ago and I called him and he told me what to do. We were in an accident a couple years ago and the car was totaled in Mineral Point and I called him and he took care of it for us. He gave us a loaner. It was great.”
Before buying the Cruze, she was driving a Chevrolet Impala.
“For about a year, I noticed some of the Cruzes on the highway and they just looked like a nice car,” she said. “I wanted something smaller with a little bit better fuel efficiency.”
And this Runde Chevy customer always gets a silver vehicle, so Jeanne continued the trend with this one.
“It doesn’t show everything,” she said about the color.
Jeanne estimates she has bought about six cars from John over the years. She’s now retired teacher, but she still volunteers her time and drives to Dubuque often.
“I do quite a bit of driving,” she said. “I put quite a few miles on my car. I’m hoping the fuel efficiency will make a difference.”
