Robert Hoefer is Ending 2013 With a New Truck!

Robert Hoefer came to Runde Auto Group to get a truck that he could use on his farm in Elgin, Nebraska. He made the trek and left here as happy as could be. We got a chance to catch up with Robert today and he shared some great news about himself and his experience at Runde’s!

Where are you from?
Elgin, Nebraska.

How far away is that from Runde’s?
388 miles, it was quite a trip!

How was the trip?
It is a pretty easy drive. We got past Waterloo, IA and it just transformed into a snowy landscape. We also got to see the two meteorites that they were talking about on the news. We saw one in Waterloo and one in Dubuque. It was strange because it was clear outside but it looked like there was lightning.

What made you choose Runde’s instead of a local dealer?
No one else had the truck I was looking for that was in the exact year I wanted with such low miles and a great price. I had no prior knowledge of Runde’s before I found the Runde website but I’m glad I looked.

How did you find Runde’s?
I found you through Cars.com and then found my way to your website.

What truck did you end up buying?
I got a Red 2002 Chevy Silverado.

What do you like to do in Elgin?
I am an electrician and I also farm a little.

Are you married?
Yes, for 21 years now.

Any kids?
2 kids.

Pets?
2 Dogs.

How big of a farm do you have?
1,000 acres.

Is the truck used for your farm?
Ya, it’s my service truck when I do Irrigation. It’s been very reliable.

How did you like your salesman, Chris Kerkel?
Oh, excellent. I was very happy with him. No pressure and he represented the truck very well. It was exactly as he told me it was on the phone.

What was your favorite part of your experience with Runde’s?
The fact that there was NO pressure. We worked the deal out over the phone and it was a very easy process once I came in. It flowed very nicely.

Would Robert Hoefer recommend Runde’s to friends and family?
Oh yes.

How are you liking the winter weather?
Well, I had a lot of work I needed to get done before it froze but that’s the way it is. You guys in Dubuque got a lot more snow than we got. I don’t think we have any snow here right now but in Dubuque it was covered.
