Dan Schmitt Picks up a New Buick Enclave at Runde’s.

Dan Schmitt is a very close friend of Runde’s. He is not only the dad of our Platteville dealership manager, Eric Schmitt, but has also been buying vehicles from us for many years. He is one of the staples that keeps Runde’s afloat, and for that, we are truly grateful. Recently purchasing a Buick Enclave, Dan decided that he wanted to share his experience this time. Here’s what he had to say:

How would you rate your experience at Runde’s on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best and 1 being the absolute worst?

What did you think of your salesman?
My salesman is my son Eric Schmitt, and I rate him as awesome.

Where are you from and have you always lived in that area?
I currently live in Fairfield Glade, TN, but prior to retiring lived in Dubuque, Waterloo and Davenport.

Married?  Kids?  Pets?
I am married and have five grown children and eight grandchildren.

What are your past times / hobbies?
I work out daily and spend a lot of time following politics.

Do you (and/or your family) have a favorite vacation spot or have a place you’d like to go?
My wife and I come back to Iowa quite often to visit family and friends, but we also visit our daughter and family in Georgia.  My wife, Bonnie, visits our daughter and family in Alaska a couple of times each year. Bonnie and I spend a couple of weeks in Florida each winter.

What led you to Runde’s in the first place and what factors led you to purchase your vehicle from us?
I bought my first vehicle from Runde’s several years before my son worked there. Runde is the most competitive dealer that I have ever dealt with and have great staff.

Would you recommend Runde’s to friends and family?
Absolutely.
