Lynn Scherr & Viola Mclaughlin – Ready to Go in a Chevy Aveo!

Today we had the pleasure of meeting two great gals – Lynn Scherr and her grandmother, Viola McLaughlin. These ladies came in to get a new Chevy Aveo for Lynn to get around in and picked out the perfect vehicle for her!

What brought you ladies out to Runde’s today?
Lynn: I came out and looked around the night before and found a vehicle I liked so I came out today and drove it around and decided to go with it.

How did you like your salesperson, Al Kloft?
Oh, he is awesome, I love him. He’s the best.

On a scale of 1-10 what would you rank your experience at Runde’s?
I’d give it a 10.

Are you from the area?
Yeah, we’re from Dubuque.

Any family in the area?
We have a huge family all living close to Dubuque. Lynn: I have two brothers and our grandpa actually owns Rich & Junnie’s coining.

Oh, Rich & Junnie’s, that’s the Vending business right? I remember playing on some of their machines in bars and arcades.
Yep, that’s them.

Who’s house does everyone trek to for the holiday’s?
Lynn: They go to our house.

Do you do the cook’n Viola?
Yes, I do. *laughs*

I’m sure it’s awesome food!  What do you guys like to do around the area?
Me and my fiance are both boat people. We go fishing and we go to Minnesota where own a camper we go to.

Fishing for anything in-particular?
Catfish and pretty much anything else.

What did you end up buying today?
A 2008 Chevy Aveo.

And what made you want the Aveo?
I really liked the color and interior. It also has really good gas mileage.

Is it serving a particular purpose?
Nope, I just needed a new car.

Getting excited for summer?
We spend a lot of time fishing really, we love to go to Minnesota to fish on our site.

If you were to win the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Lynn: I’d buy a house, cars and pay off my families debt.
Viola: I’d pay off loans, house, families houses and buy homes for those who don’t have it and give some to St. Jude.

Any pets?
Lynn: I have two cats.
Viola: I have two dogs, they’re getting up there in age, one’s a mix and the other one’s a black lab.

You said you were engaged now, how long have you been engaged for?
Since June 25th, 2011 – last year. We get married on September 1st of 2013.           

Getting excited?
Yeah, there’s a lot to do and under five months to go, it’s coming quick.

That’s all the questions I had for you ladies, anything else you’d like to add?
Lynn: Our experience was very good. Al is a nice guy and I don’t think I’d go anywhere else to get a car, you guys have a great selection.
Viola: I just met Al today and I must say he seems very down to earth and nice.
