Katie Bundy and her parents Maureen & Steve Keen along with Katie’s roommate, Hazel Cybart-Fuson came in together to purchase a Chevy Cobalt for Katie. They were having a great time chatting together while their plates were being exchanged and decided that they would love to be on our blog!
I’m assuming you’re all family?
Katie: Hazel is my roommate. She has to drive an old car home! My parents are here to help me co-sign for the car.
What brought you into Runde’s today?
Katie: To buy a new car because the car I drove wasn’t doing so well. It’s been through a lot, I’ve had the car since I was 16 and I’m 21 now, so a new car was definitely needed.
How did you find Runde’s?
I think I was on Kelly Blue-Book’s website and then we to Runde Auto Group’s website and from there then we browsed through the Runde’s site to find a Chevy Cobalt.
Were you targeting a Chevy Cobalt from the beginning?
Pretty much we were looking at getting the 2.9% interest on the GM Certified Used Vehicles and the Cobalt fell into that category which is the car I wanted so it worked out well.
So you called in and got a hold of Al right away?
We came down because I go to the University of Wisconsin Platteville so we just came here since it wasn’t too bad of a drive.
What is everyone’s role here?
Hazel is here for support and my parents are here for financial purposes.
Are you from Platteville as well?
Maureen: No, we’re from Juda, WI – it’s about 80 miles from Madison, WI.
What do you guys like to do as a family?
Maureen: Katie and I like to go on trips. We went to Puerto Rico last year, it was fun. We try to go somewhere every year during spring break.
What do you do in Juda?
Maureen: I work in Madison, WI as a Registered Nurse at the children’s hospital.
Steve: I’m retired.
Any Pets?
We have two horses and a Golden Retriever who is seven – he’s a big boy.
Two horses, so you guys live on quite a bit of land?
No, we actually live in town. We have 3 acres in the backyard and the front yard is directly into the town. It was pretty convenient to be able to walk to school and still have a barn in the middle of town.
On a scale of 1-10, how would you rank your experience at Runde’s?
Probably a 9.5, it was great.
How did you like your Salesman, Al Kloft?
Katie: He’s really nice and personable. Maureen: It felt like he was a dad figure looking out for her when she was picking out a car.
If you guys were to win the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Katie: I’d pay off my student loans then get a nice house.
Maureen: I’d open up a special needs daycare for kids.
How about you, Hazel, what would you do with the money?
Katie & Maureen: She’d probably buy a turtle farm! Hazel: Ha, ya probably, but I’d first pay off my student loans then donate to Maureen’s daycare.
You like turtles?
Yeah, I have a little box turtle.
Neat. I always wanted one of those huge tortoises.
Yeah, the big ones at the Zoo are really neat.
Plan on coming back to Runde’s for your vehicles?
I would say so, there’s a very good chance of that.
That’s really all the questions I had for you guys. Thank you very much for taking some time out to do the interview and enjoy your Chevy Cobalt!
