After hearing laughter from Al Kloft’s desk, I venture over to see what all the commotion is about. I arrive to see one of Al Kloft’s customers having a great time. Noreen was more than willing to share her experiences with Al and Runde’s with me after having such a blast!
What led you to Runde’s today?
Actually my sister just bought a car here last week. She loved her experience and recommended for me to get my vehicle here. So I came in and talked to Al and I ended up with a good used vehicle.
How did you like Al?
Oh I love him. Cool dude. He’s off the wall and I like that.
On a scale of 1-10 what would you give your experience here at Runde’s?
I actually really liked it here. At least a good 9.5. I have to give Al a 10 though, I love that dude.
Glad you had a great experience!
I’m from Maquoketa, about a half an hour away. I shopped there for a good used vehicle, but all I ended up with was a headache. The dealer around Maquoketa didn’t treat me right. Runde’s was 100 times better than that place. I felt really comfortable here, like one of the family.
Do you have any kids?
I have one daughter, Montana. She thinks she’s Hannah Montana.
Hannah Montana is becoming quite “risqué” as of late it seems.
Oh I know! I don’t know if you’ve seen the video of her in the birdcage? But I don’t even let my daughter watch it, it’s too much.
What vehicle did you end up with today?
I picked up an Equinox. It’s really a nice vehicle. I transport my kid and dog around easily. I ended up traded in my Cobalt.
What kind of dog do you have?
A Shih-tzu, her name is Kansas.
If you were to win the lottery what would you do with the money?
I would share the wealth with my family. I also kind of want one of those new Camaro’s… beyond that I’d buy a house.
Where would you go on your dream vacation?
I’d like to go to Paris to just take it all in.
If there was one invention you couldn’t live without what would it be?
A toilet. It’s a nice luxury to be in a warm house when you have to do your duty.
I see you have a Harley Davidson shirt on, big fan?
Much-so, I always wanted one. I kind of want a trike.
See any good movies recently?
Oh! I liked Dear John, you see that? Anyway it’s a really good movie, really interesting, you should watch it.
What kind of things do you like to do around the area?
I sew a little. … Jack of all trades really. We camp and like to get out a lot.
Where’s the most interesting place you’ve been to?
It would be the old town of Wisconsin. I think it’s called Waukesha, Wisconsin. But it’s awesome there, you walk around the whole thing and it’s like your back in the pioneer days – they shoe the horses, they show you how they cook and the houses look the way they would have been set up back then. Really neat, it’s all the old way; I’m into old stuff and antiques.
I was a farm-girl… I’m a city slicker now and I hate it. I want to go back out to the country. I’ve been told I “have a lot of mouth” that’s too loud for town.
What’s your favorite restaurant?
I like Olive Garden… or the Road House. Hooters is alright too.
Couders?
No, “Hooters”. You never heard of Hooters? It’s where all those girls walk around in skimpy little outfits. Yeah, you’ll like Hooters.
That’s pretty much all the questions I had for you, if you have anything to add you are more than welcome to.
Just that I think it’s a really nice place and I’m glad I found a good used vehicle. Overall everyone at Runde’s is friendly and they tell you everything you would want to know. Al told me that my previous vehicle was from Hawaii- I never knew that and thought it was very cool of him to tell me!
