This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Iowa-Illinois Regional Auto Show in Davenport, IA. This automotive extravaganza will be held once again at the River Center February 6th through the 8th. If you are in the that area this weekend, definitely check it out.
Runde Auto Group unfortunately won’t be represented at this auto show as it would be a bit of a long-distance haul to take our new vehicles all the way to the Davenport area. So why are we taking the time to mention this auto show that’s approximately 70 miles away? It’s funny you should ask.
Mike works in the reconditioning department at Runde Chevrolet and attends East Dubuque High School. He has worked for Runde’s since April of 2007 and he normally works weekdays after school and Saturdays as well. His responsibilities include: preparing vehicles for retail display on our car lot, detailing sold vehicles, checking in and inspecting new vehicles, general lot maintenance, and taking digital photos of vehicles for our website.
He’s an all-around good guy and a hard-working individual — and in our opinion, the scholarship went to the right guy. Mike plans put the scholarship to use at Western Illinois University next fall where he plans to major in Education. Congrats Mike Lawler !!!
